Toch neemt de urgentie toe. Met 2027 als belangrijke Europese deadline voor het behalen van waterkwaliteitsdoelen, wordt duidelijk dat bedrijven n\u00fa stappen moeten zetten om te blijven voldoen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Wat is de KRW?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De Kaderrichtlijn Water (KRW) is Europese wetgeving uit 2000, gericht op het verbeteren en beschermen van de kwaliteit van grond- en oppervlaktewater. De richtlijn verplicht lidstaten om water in een goede chemische en ecologische toestand te brengen \u00e9n te houden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Twee kernprincipes staan centraal:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Verbeterplicht: waterkwaliteit moet aantoonbaar verbeteren<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Achteruitgangsverbod: waterkwaliteit mag niet verslechteren<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2027 is daarbij geen startpunt, maar de belangrijkste mijlpaal waarop deze doelen in principe gerealiseerd moeten zijn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Wat betekent dit voor bedrijven?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Voor veel bedrijven, waaronder de maakindustrie, maakt de KRW al langer onderdeel uit van het speelveld. De impact wordt echter steeds zichtbaarder door strengere handhaving en scherpere normen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bedrijven die lozen, direct of via het riool (indirect), moeten onder andere:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>voldoen aan normen voor schadelijke stoffen<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>beschikken over een geldige vergunning<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>aantonen dat lozingen geen negatieve impact hebben op de waterkwaliteit<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Waterschappen en bevoegde gezagen kijken hierbij steeds kritischer naar emissies en vergunningen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Hoe kun je als bedrijf voldoen?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De uitdaging ligt vooral in het concreet maken van maatregelen. Denk aan:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Inzicht cre\u00ebren in waterstromen en gebruikte stoffen<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bronaanpak: voorkomen dat schadelijke stoffen in het water terechtkomen<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Procesoptimalisatie om emissies te verminderen<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Zuivering verbeteren waar nodig<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Regelmatige toetsing van lozingen aan actuele normen<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tools zoals een KRW Self Assessment kunnen helpen om risico\u2019s en aandachtspunten inzichtelijk te maken.<br>Self Assessment &#8211; Indirecte lozingen:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/krw.ondernemen.nl\/indirecte-lozing\/introductie\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/krw.ondernemen.nl\/indirecte-lozing\/introductie<\/a>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Self Assessment &#8211; directe lozingen:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/krw.ondernemen.nl\/directe-lozing\/introductie\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/krw.ondernemen.nl\/directe-lozing\/introductie<\/a>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Blijven voldoen vraagt continu aandacht<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ook na 2027 blijven de verplichtingen bestaan.
