Dankzij een ingenieus, tweedelig proces printen ontwerpers en ingenieurs nu nog gemakkelijker metalen onderdelen met een complexe geometrie. Layertec, de distributeur van Desktop Metal in de Benelux, kan deze baanbrekende printoplossing al vanaf maart 2021 leveren. Inclusief alle gewenste ondersteuning.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Printen en sinteren<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Het nieuwe Studio System\u2122 2 is geschikt voor het 3D printen van prototypes, tooling en toepassingen voor eindgebruik in kleine volumes. Bij deze 3D metaalprintoplossing heb je net als zijn voorganger Studio System\u2122 niet te maken met gevaarlijke metaalpoeders of lasers en zijn er geen speciale voorzieningen nodig.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nieuw is dat je ook geen debinder meer nodig hebt. Dat betekent dat het hele proces nu bestaat uit slechts twee stappen: printen en sinteren. Studio System\u2122 2 gebruikt geheel nieuwe materiaalsamenstellingen waardoor je onderdelen rechtstreeks van de printer in de sinteroven kunt zetten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Automatische workflow<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Andere belangrijke verbeteringen zijn onder meer de nieuwe printprofielen en een geheel nieuw materiaalsysteem. Je bent hierdoor verzekerd van een hoge en uiterst betrouwbare kwaliteit van geprinte onderdelen. Daarnaast zorgt de Fabricate software ervoor dat het printen en sinteren volledig worden geautomatiseerd. Hierdoor krijg je hoogwaardige onderdelen voor eindgebruik die een dichtheid en materiaalkenmerken hebben die vergelijkbaar zijn met het traditionele gieten. Support verwijder je in een handomdraai door de strategische naden die tijdens het printproces worden aangemaakt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Nieuwe generatie<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Arnaud Kooij, directeur van Layertec, stelt dat Studio System\u2122 2 behoort tot de nieuwe generatie metaalprintoplossingen dankzij het 3D printpoces in twee stappen dat leidt tot minder materiaalverbruik en een kleinere footprint. \u2018Desktop Metal maakt gebruik van de beste kenmerken van Studio System+ en heeft deze aanzienlijk verbeterd waardoor je uitstekende geprinte metalen onderdelen krijgt. Het gehele proces is sterk gestroomlijnd en veel toegankelijker.
